The ‘Foul Gull’? In praise of Fulmars
Whilst their name derives from old Norse for ‘foul gull’, this spectacular coastal denizen deserves a far more fitting title to describe its majestic aerial prowess. This photo essay is an ode to one of my favourite seabirds, from a few memorable encounters in the northern islands of the Faroes.
